VMware partners are responsible for the majority of the company’s revenue. Competing for the mindshare of partner sales teams is not easy, as they sell multiple vendors and dozens of solutions. This campaign targeted VMware’s top partners with the goal of making VMware the preferred choice for sellers.
Working closely with VMware’s business units and partner leads, we developed a strategy around upselling the install base. Beyond witty creative to draw attention to the key message (who knew instant oatmeal and Hyperconvergence had so much in common?) we turned complex tech materials into simple and practical sales tools for sellers.
The campaign made so much impact that it was expanded to become a long term platform for partner enablement.
